Chris starts the show off apologizing for the wild beast that ran through the studio during last week’s show. This week Sexy Sarah gets a new nickname on account of her calling in sick. John is also absent, and Chris is left to do the show by himself.
Chris shares an enlightening story about being in a band with John, and having to play a show at High on the Hill all by himself once because John had flaked out and didn’t want to play the show. Chris shares a live clip from that fateful solo performance at High on the Hill in which he tells the audience to stop clapping because it’s throwing off his rhythm.
Chris then plays a song called “March with the Devil” by the Almighty Spit, and then proceeds with a segment I’m going to call Childhood Story Time, in which Chris recounts a story about feeling sad and all alone. This then concludes with the song “Kill Yourself” by Andrew W.K., used to express the human emotion of sadness.
Bryan the Producer phones in from his vacation spot in Florida to consult Chris about doing the show alone. And then all of a sudden Chris’ sister, Lauren, and Mr. John show up! You may remember us referring to Lauren in last week’s episode when she complained that we left out the Five Minutes in Capeside segment!
This week we bring Lauren on the show in person to do the Five Minutes in Capeside segment, in which Chris and Lauren tell the story of vacationing in Wilmington, NC, the home of Screen Gem Studios and where they filmed the Dawson’s Creek television show. Chris and Lauren also met an intriguing fellow calling himself Schpiel Steveberg who took them on a Hollywood Walk Tour of all the spots in Wilmington that were featured in Dawson’s Creek. They even got to sign a popular Autograph Wall, writing their names right next to Joshua Jackson’s own signature!
Another new segment debuts this week called Youtube FU which features comments and questions from you! This week’s comment is from Amber Foxx. You’ll never guess what she said!
